A59 HAVE A REST!

Bangkok residents overreliance on private cars/motorbikes use is notorious, causing immense traffic congestion, noise and air pollution. However, public bus, motorbike-taxi and new electric tuk-tuk services are fairly well developed and if properly used could decrease negative impact of transportation in Bangkok. Unfortunately, the stops for each type of transportation are sometimes hard to find and they do not offer proper waiting space or resting opportunity. Have a Rest! installation aim is to stimulate use of public and shared means of transportation by properly outlining their stops and offering resting possibility. Project has been successfully tested for one week in 4 locations in Bangkok and will be proposed to city of Bangkok for wider implementation.
